Collaborating with the Town of Londonderry, the VCRD initiated and led a community process to engage all residents in setting direction for a vibrant, prosperous, and dynamic future for Londonderry. Through a series of forums, residents actively participated in reviewing challenges and opportunities facing the community, identified top priorities for action and developed concrete action plans. Throughout this process, VCRD introduced both technical and financial resources to Londonderry to move priorities forward.
The result of this initiative was the formation of "One Londonderry" and the creation citizen-led groups to address key priorities of housing, recreation, village revitalization, economic vitality and the creation of a community center.
